The 66th edition of the Ballon d’Or 2022 ceremony, which was held today, Monday, October 17, 2022, saw Real Madrid and France forward Karim Benzema pick up the prestigious award; the organizers released the full player power rankings.
Benzema became the fourth french man to win the award after delivering a stellar performance in the 2012/2022 season that saw his side Real Madrid win the Champions League and also the La Liga in the same season. Sadio Mane came in second place, while Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City was ranked third.
