Chelsea Reportedly Complete its First Signing Ahead of Next Season

Chelsea Football Club have reportedly completed their first signing of the next summer transfer window.

Todd Boehly, who recently assumed ownership of the team, is in charge of building a new roster for the Blues. Christopher Nkunku, a forward for RB Leipzig, has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement to join the team next summer, according to sources from Chelsea.

The French player rreportedly had undergone his medical with Chelsea but he will play the rest of the season with the Bundesliga club. Chelsea are ready to trigger the contract of Nkunku which will see him play for the Blues from the 2023/24 season.

Chelsea supporters will hope the deal does not get hijacked when the transfer window opens.
