Highly regarded Afrofusion musician Duru teases “Wayte,” a banger off his upcoming extended play CD that was created by DMW beatmaker Sproach Beatz.
The singer decided to spice things up by tipping his hat to David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, the label head and one of Nigeria’s top Afrobeat artists, who has won numerous awards and accolades.
The singer also included some of Tobechukwu Victor Okoh‘s, better known by his stage name Peruzzi, sounds in the song. Peruzzi is a well-known DMW/30BG act, and his recent contribution to Phyno’s hit song “Belong to You” is still making waves online and in the streets. The musician has not yet made available his debut single in 2022.
An Afro-fusion love song from Duru’s upcoming EP is called Wayte. The song was written by Davido (CEO of DMW), Peruzzi, and Duru and is about love, passion, romance, and all in between. It reflects good audio quality, proper delivery, and uplifting feelings. When the song is released, according to Duru, it will be a representation of Afro–fusion will definitely arouse excitement from fans both at home and abroad. This is because the music is so enjoyable and danceable.
