Eminem’s Manager Says He Feared That Em Had Brain Damage After Overdosing
Some might recall that Eminem overdosed on methadone in 2007, which he and his manager Paul Rosenberg discussed on Rosenberg’s Paul Pod: Curtain Call 2 podcast.
“”It took a long time for my brain to start working again,” Em, who recently reached the top of the Christian music charts, explained.
“I mean, you were literally coming off an overdose, and they had to sort of stabilize you with a few medications, and some of them took you a minute to adjust to, so let’s just leave it at that.” “In response, Rosenberg stated.
The veteran manager later expressed concern after Em resumed rapping, implying that he didn’t like his new material.
“Didn’t you ask the doctors when I first started rapping again and sent it to you, ‘I just want to make sure he doesn’t have brain damage?'”
‘ “Em inquired of Rosenberg.
“I thought you might have some permanent problems. Yeah, I was concerned, for sure,” Rosenberg responded.
