Chelsea Football Club have been reportedly linked with a move for RB Leipzig player, Christopher Nkunku ahead of the 2023 summer transfer window.
The reports coming in from the official website of the Daily Mail on Friday, September 30th, 2022 confirmed that the French player already had his medical with Chelsea. According to reports from Stamford Bridge the player is expected to join the Blues next season.
Chelsea have been in desperate need of a striker with Timo Werner leaving for Leipzig and Romelu Lukaku’s future at the Bridge in doubt, Kai Havertz also struggling for form. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling seem to be the only light at the end of Chelsea’s tunnel for now.
The price tag on the French player is not expected to be a problem for Chelsea’s new owner, Todd Boelhy. Chelsea will trigger the release clause of £52 million for the player next summer.
