Graham Potter has opened up on why Koulibaly and Ngolo Kante have not started for him so far as the new manager of Chelsea.
During his pre-match conference ahead of a deciding UEFA Champions League tie for Chelsea, new head coach Graham Potter has opened up on why Kalidou Koulibaly and Ngolo Kante haven’t featured in a game so far for him.
Potter revealed that Kalidou Koulibaly is still working his way to match fitness in terms of the weight aspect, and he also mentioned that the injury situation of Ngolo Kante is being closely monitored in such a way that the blues won’t have to worry or express concerns over his match fitness every two to three games.
Both players are back in training, and Potter also commends the mentality of Koulibaly, indicating that he is excited to have him on the team. Potter has not confirmed or denied if both players would start for his side in the champions league fixture against AC Milan on Wednesday, October 4, 2022.
