Kwara United was eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup after falling to defending champions RS Berkane of Morocco 2-0.

Last weekend, the Ilorin club won the first leg 3-1 in Lagos.

Kwara United was defeated by Moroccans on away goals after the tie ended 3-3 on aggregate.
Cheick Quattara gave RS Berkane the lead in the 16th minute after a sustained period of pressure.

Goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka’s error allowed El Bahri to score the second goal in the 54th minute.

Despite a valiant effort, the Ilorin club was unable to re-enter the game.

Remo Stars, Nigeria’s other representative in the competition, were eliminated in the preliminary round.
