The first team of Liverpool Football Club have been hit by serious injury since the start of the football season.
The Merseyside team have struggled all through the Premier League season because of a lack of some of its key players. Portugal’s midfielder, Diogo Jota is the latest on the casualty list for the Reds as the season continues ahead of the World Cup.

The reports from Anfield is that Jota will have a scan but there are fears the Portugal international has suffered a serious injury to his right calf. They are strong indications that he will not be representing his country at the World Cup in Qatar.
Seven Players are currently injured in the team squad, the injury list includes Arthur Melo, Navy Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz.
