West Ham simply didn’t have an answer for the home team, who even managed to increase their lead in the 85th minute when Phil Foden’s volley deflected off Emerson Palmieri and past Fabiaski. The Cityzens won for the ninth time in a row to reclaim first place in the Premier League with a match remaining against Arsenal in second place.
