No Deal! Brighton’s Barber dismisses Mac Allister to Liverpool transfer
It will take something special to pry World Cup winner Alex Mac Allister away now that Brighton has made it to Europe for the first time ever.

Paul Barber, the manager of Brighton and Hove Albion, has refuted suggestions that Alex Mac Allister is nearing a transfer due to a deal that Liverpool and the player have reached.
Barber made this comment on Monday’s episode of the TalkSport breakfast program, which Naijagoal Sports Nigeria was watching.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, claimed that Liverpool and the World Cup winner were close to agreeing on a deal with settled personal terms.
The Mac Allister transaction was cleared up by Barber.
The Argentine superstar was crucial in helping the Seagulls earn their first-ever trip to Europe for the upcoming season.

The top European clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United, took notice of his exceptional performances for the team.
With regard to the future of their superstar midfielder, Brighton’s manager has since come forward to clarify the situation.

“I saw him down on the pitch looking very happy and obviously we want him to be here next season,” Barber said on TalkSport.
“Obviously, we know there’s going to be a lot of clubs, not just in this country, but around Europe and the world that are going to be wanting him to play for them. But, at the moment he’s wearing blue and white stripes and I’m delighted about that.”

“If I lost sleep over every report that I read about one of our players doing that then I wouldn’t be sleeping very much at all,” he added.
“At the moment, he’s focused on doing what he can for us during his final two games.”
Mac Allister’s season
For the Seagulls during their successful Premier League campaign, the Argentine midfielder was a constant presence in the middle of the field.

He participated in 33 games, scored 10 goals, and provided two more assists to help Brighton book a historic trip to Europe for the upcoming season.
