The Premier League body have announced the nominees for the manager of the month award for September 2022.
The announcement was made on the official website of the Premier League on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022. The list had some expected names while some names left some followers of the league surprised.
Tottenham’s manager, Antonio Conte was the expected name on the list following his exploits in the league. Spurs won both of their games in fine style by beating Fulham and Leicester City, scoring eight goals and conceding just three.
The interim manager of Bournemouth Football Club, Gary O’Neil, also made the list following his performance since the sacking of Scott Parker. He won his first game against Nottingham Forest and earned a draw against Newcastle United.
Manchester United’s Erik Ten Hag is the last name on the list following the victory over Leicester City and Arsenal Football Club.
