The Atlas Lions of Morocco left the whole African continent in a celebratory mood following their shocking victory over the second-ranked best team in the World, Belgium.
The winners of the 2019, Africa Cup of Nations came into the game without getting any chance from the bookmakers. However, second-half goals from Sabiri and Zakaria Aboukhlal ensured that the North Africans have four points after two games.
The second goal could also be vital as the qualification to the next round could be decided by goal difference. This is the first World Cup win for Morocco since beating Scotland at France ’98.
