Former interim manager of Manchester United, Ralf Rangnick has also reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comment about him in the interview with Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo has been under scrutiny by football supporters around the world since some clips of the interview were released on social media. The Portugal International said he was shocked that Rangnick was appointed to manage Manchester United, according to him, before that moment he had never heard of the German.
However, Ragnick responded to Ronaldo at a press conference where he was asked about the comments made towards him. According to him, he is the coach of Austria and he would not comment on the Ronaldo.
I am the team boss of Austria’s national team, it’s not my job to judge that. (It’s) the job of Manchester United and the sports journalists.
The German left Manchester United at the end of the 2021/22 football season winning just 11 games in the 36 games he took charge of at the club.
