Ramadan: Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to Muslims
Cristiano Ronaldo, a player for Portugal, has gained popularity online thanks to his message to Muslims in honor of Ramadan.
The ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Ramadan, is a time for reflection, fasting, and prayer.
Muslims are expected to refrain from eating and drinking from dawn until dusk and to break their fast only at sunset.
This year’s holy period will run from March 22 through April 21.
Ronaldo, who has emerged as Saudi Arabia’s unofficial ambassador, took the opportunity to wish them a blessed Ramadan.
His post on Twitter read:
“Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims.”
The tweet impressed his fans, with many thanking Ronaldo for the wish.
