Rema And Selena Gomez’s ‘Calm Down Remix’ Reaches New Global Spotify Peak

Popular singer, Selena Gomez and Nigeria’s Rema’s “Calm Down Remix” has reached a new peak on global Spotify.

After gaining 1.589 million streams yesterday, the song reached number 51 on the global Spotify chart. Congratulations to them!

Gomez’s guest appearance on Coldplay’s 2021 single, “Let Somebody Go,” off the British rock band’s ninth studio album, Music of the Spheres, was her first collaboration of 2022. Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, and 6LACK are just a few of the R&B and hip-hop acts with whom Rema has recently collaborated.

After a video of Gomez and Rema meeting backstage during his Rave & Roses World Tour began making the rounds on social media and swiftly going viral, the two artists announced their joint project. Following their meeting, the founder of Rare beauty uploaded a black and white snapshot of herself and Rema to an Instagram Story on August 17 with the GIF phrase “coming soon.”

The video of the song also reached number 1 on trending videos on YouTube yesterday. Watch below:
