Bayern Munich’s forward player, Sadio Mane, sustained an injury against Werder Bremen while playing for his club on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. According to reports from L’Equipe, the Senegalese vice-captain has been ruled out of the World Cup.
The manager of Bayern Munich, Nagelsmann said after the game that he does not have an update on the injury to Mane but he hopes that he gets fits before the World Cup.

The former Liverpool player is suffering from a tendon and is expected to miss several weeks of competition. Mane has been a key part of Senegal’s success in recent years, he helped them win the African Cup of Nations and qualification for the World Cup at the expense of Egypt.
