The manager of Chelsea Football Club, Graham Potter has held his first press conference as the manager of the London club.
The Englishman was speaking ahead of the Blues UEFA Champions League game against Salzburg at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. According to Potter, there is no guarantee of what Chelsea can win this season but he has massive respect for all the competitions are currently competing in at the moment.
All my thoughts are on tomorrow night. We need to compete here. I have respect for the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, competitions we are in. We are #Chelsea, no guarantees. Resources alone isn’t enough. It’s about connecting with supporters, them recognising the team, working at Cobham. Success is to see improvement and be competing to win.
Chelsea supporters will hope Potter hits the ground immediately just like his predecessor, Thomas Tuchel did when he was appointed manager. The German won the UEFA Champions League in the first six months of his time at Chelsea.
