According to Luciano Spalletti, the manager of Napoli, Victor Osimhen will play against Ajax on Wednesday (today).
On September 8, Osimhen was hurt during Napoli’s UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool.
Following the defeat, the Nigerian international has been absent from Napoli’s last six games in all competitions.
The 23-year-old trained with his teammates for the first time since he sustained the injury on Monday.
Prior to the Champions League match, Spalletti reaffirmed that the striker is in good shape.
Victor’s talent makes him a strength for our team. He is producing good work and is prepared to contribute, Spalletti said during a press conference on Tuesday.
