Paris Saint-Germain forward player, Lionel Messi scored a goal that could win the Puskas award ( best goal of the year).
The Argentine scored the goal in the second half of the friendly match against Honduras on Saturday, September 24th, 2022. Messi’s goal had everyone in the stadium on their feet and everyone talking about the goal on social media.
Messi would be leading the Argentine national team to the FIFA World Cup that will be hosted in Qatar later this year. The people of the South American Nation will hope that he can lead the team to winning the trophy another time.
The last time Argentina came close to winning the World Cup was in Brazil in 2014 where they lost to Germany 1-0 in the final match.
